I entered the area where booths and other locations were waiting for us with a joyful and excited spirit. Where friendly faces and a cozy atmosphere greeted us. Technical and Livelihood Education (TLE) and ICT are related to it in the ESTUDYANTEPRENEUR 2024. First and foremost, I am confident that ESTUDYANTEPRENEUR will succeed since I knew this event would be a success since I saw my TLE Club classmates prepare, and it was!
A lot of activities began as soon as I entered. Students in home economics proudly displayed their culinary creations while wearing aprons. A secondhand store called "Ukay-ukay" filled with reasonably priced clothing and pretty satin roses. The "Quote Corner," where you could purchase a rolled-up message for just one peso—a fortuitous meeting with wisdom wrapped in paper—was what really captured my attention, though. My first pick served as a helpful reminder to treat myself with kindness. Another that really spoke to me was "Breathe, Darling, this is just a chapter, not your whole story," by Louisa May Alcott. It made me smile and feel warm within.
On my second visit, under the guidance of Mrs. Dela Cruz, I saw the landscape had changed. ICT became the main attraction, humming with activity. With helpful and amiable students running it, the photo booth turned into a safe sanctuary for taking pictures of pals. A varied gaming area was housed in rows of laptops, and student-made short films, each showcasing their inventiveness, were on display on the second floor. I couldn't resist the marshmallow-topped graham balls either! The contagious laughing and animated conversation created an image of pure delight that was very different from the typical classroom setting. With smiles on our faces, we departed, realizing that education might be this enjoyable.
ESTUDYANTEPRENEUR was a demonstration of the value of education that extends beyond traditional classroom boundaries, not merely an event. It offered a place to unwind, enjoy oneself, and—above all—learn in a special and captivating way. It quickly made me realize the limitless potential of experiential learning and demonstrated that learning can actually thrive in the most unlikely of settings.
